Proper Talk is a straight-talking property discussion forum where a live audience watches a moderator put expert panels of industry heavyweights through their paces.
Fantastic delegate feedback followed the inaugural Proper Talk Manchester in September 2023, then came Proper Talk London on 1 February 2024, Proper Talk Birmingham on 12 June 2024, Proper Talk in London again on 1 October 2024 and our fifth Proper Talk in Manchester on 30 January 2025 was in front of a capacity audience.
Our sixth event took place on 1 May 2025 in the magnificent Lecture Hall at RICS HQ in London. The theme? PropTech and AI — explored, debated and challenged in front of a capacity crowd of property professionals. In the room were managing agents, developers, freeholders, software providers, maintenance contractors, building safety experts, solicitors, surveyors, insurance brokers, risk consultants, an EV firm… even an RTM director.
Our seventh event was held on 1 October 2025 at The Insurance Hall in the City of London, the home of the UK Insurance sector for over 80 years. The building was designed in the early 1930s and officially opened on 28th June 1934 by His Majesty King George V. Fittingly, this Proper Talk panel discussion was on Buildings Insurance, and we warmly welcomed property managers, property developers, freeholders and other stakeholders operating in the residential property sector.
Following our first online webinar held on 28 January 2026, residential property professionals packed into RICS’ headquarters in Westminster on 1 July 2026 for another lively Proper Talk – this time exploring one of the biggest topics facing our sector: Artificial Intelligence and PropTech.
